Then you will visit khan el khalili bazaar, the major souk in the Old City of Cairo and a major tourist attraction, where you will be transported back in time to an old Arab souk. The souk dates back to 1382, when Emir Djaharks el- Khalili built a large caravanserai (خان khan in Arabic) in Cairo under the Burji Mamluk Sultan Barquq. This bazaar nowadays is loud, crowded, colorful and exciting. It contains different kinds of goods.
