Our Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to El Faiyum which is about 95 km from Cairo, there you will enjoy many wonderful sites and interesting history, you will start your tour by the visit of Qarun Lake which is one of the oldest lakes in the world, completely independent of the sea.

Then you will visit Wadi El Ryan water falls which was designated as Protected Area in 1989. This site is a natural depression located in the western desert, 42meters below sea level. It consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of Wadi El Rayan is drainage water from the farmlands in Faiyum.

After that we will go to Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales) about 90 km far from Faiyum, this site is located in the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan and it was designated by UNISCO as a World Heritage Site in recognition of the 40 million year old whale skeletons found there. There you will visit the weather and climate change museum, then you will go for a walking tour in the Whale Valley which is considered as an open museum, it dates back to 40 million years and it is the most significant place in the world to demonstrate the evolution of whales. More than 400 types of whale and sea cow skeletons, other bones, shells and plant fossils have been identified here, some of them preserved in soft rocks.  On the way to Wadi El hitan we will visit Mudawara Mountain, a magnificent spot overlooking the beautiful landscape below where deep blue waters meet the golden yellow sand and will have great joy by sand-boarding
